Buddy's In Training

Ugh!  My mommy has me on a new training program.  I have to run with her in the 4th of July 5k right here where we live.  We ran it last year, it was my mommy's first race (mine too).  Well now we are training for it again.  I ran one whole mile today non stop.  Mommy said she was proud of me.  We are working up to the whole 3 miles.  We want to beat last years time.  Oh, I am so tired right now.  I am resting my head on mommy's leg, just relaxing until my next run.

My New Sweater

This is my new sweater my Mommy bought me. She says I look sophisticated in it. I am just plain humiliated. She says I need to have a pipe to go with it. I do not know what that means, but I wouldn't mind a cookie or two!

Grampa's House

I got to go to Grandpa's house today. I love going to his house. He is 81 and can't see very well. I always find good things on the floor there to eat! Grandpa loves to eat peanuts and potato chips in his chair while he watches TV; he always drops something!

Today he cooked us ribs. They were ummy. Grandpa always puts a towel on the floor next to his chair and drops food from his plate on it for me. Today he even gave me a big bone to chew on.

I sure love Sundays at Grandpa's!

I'm a hotel kind of dog!

This last weekend I got to stay at the Westin in Pasadena with my mommies. It was really fun. My one mommy as in the Pasadena Half Marathon. It poured rain on her. I got all wet too when I went to cheer her on at the finish line. I didn't mind though. It was fun to be out for a walk and get to see my mommy run!

I was a good boy in the hotel. I did pee pee outside and even got to ride in an elevator. Everyone we passed said I was cute. My mommies are really proud of me. I love them lots, especially when I get to spend the weekend with them and the cats have to stay at home!

Buddy's Christmas Outfit

Well my mommy has totally humiliated me with this new outfit. She made me wear it all night and said that I have to wear when we go Christmas visiting.

Welcome to my blog. I would like to share all of my tails with you!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a 3 year old Chihuahua Dachshund mix. My family calls me a "ChaWeener"! I was born somewhere in Los Angeles, California. I wound up in the South LA Pound where they were walking me to be put to sleep for ever when a nice lady rescued me. I lived with her for about 3 months. She had lots of cats at her house, so I got used to living with them. I was then adopted by my new family in September of 2007. They live in Orange County, California, so I am now an OC Dog! My family says that is something special. All I know is I have a great loving home, with lots of food and love. I live with two cats, Bailey and Ebony. Ebony hates me, I do not know why. I don't bother her, but she sure does yell at me. My brother Bailey and I love to steal food from our family. He is good a jumbping up on tables and counters and getting the food to the floor so we can share it!
